According to anti-war coalition group Just Peace Advocates, TD bank has invested ten billion dollars in war crimes and genocide through financial ties with weapons manufacturers and war profiteers like General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, RTX Corporation (also known as Raytheon) and Northrop Grumman. All of these manufacturers have provided weapons, vehicles, and weapons development to the Israeli military. London Gathers Together in Celebration of May Day

On a bright, sunny May 3rd, music, dancing and joy filled Victoria Park. Several organizations united in a rally for May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day, to call attention to the struggles of the working class in Canada and abroad. The event opened with chants and music from Frank Risdsdale in support of labour movements, unions and workers rights, followed by speeches by representatives of various labour and leftist organizations in the city. Neither the threat of rain or cold weather would stop the population of London from making their voices heard. On Saturday, April 25, over 100 people gathered at Victoria Park to continue to protest the Ford administration and its negative impact on the city. Yesterday morning, a crowd of Londoners gathered to support longtime activist David Heap at his court hearing. Heap faces charges related to protesting the ‘Best Defence’ weapons manufacturing conference held in London in October 2025. Heap, an associate professor at Western University, was charged with one count of obstructing a peace officer after the London Police Service (LPS) Street Crime Unit executed search warrants at his home on November 25.
